season is upon us. The first race of the year is this Saturday. Brecktobercross is at the Breckenridge Nordic Center only a few minutes away from the Brecktoberfest homage to sausage and beer. $20 to race and a free beer ticket.
Racers and non racers alike are invited to a Sunday cyclocross ride, starting time in the AM and route to be determined but it will probably go up Four Mile to the Switzerland trail. Mountain bikes are welcome but if you own a cross bike and show up on a mountain bike, I'll pee on your saddle. (KW is exempt because her "cross" bike has road gearing and tires.)
Suggested amenities beyond the standards.
1. Multiple tubes.
2. Extra tubes.
3. Spare tubes.
4. 1 quart used 30 wt motor oil
5. Bible
6. Cyanide pills
