some more pics from the hike

It was so much fun to get out and catch up with Rose and Allison! Lets do that again!

Trainwreck 07

This is why I'm not out there riding with you.

Where's Trout?

Dub and I got Mama Alford out for a hike on Saturday, without Trout. Finally got to meet the little guy, though. He's pretty cute, I must say. And the aspens don't look too bad either.

time to dust off the skis, boys and girls

The wind was too much up on the passes and peaks for me on Sunday, but I hiked up to Diamond Lake in the first snow of the season. Seriously, are you guys still riding bikes???

Gotta stop in South Park and get yer Grub-On early.

Notice the smile on the author's face. More singletrack turns the frown upside-down after 4 flats.

1st snow!

Drove thru the white stuff on the way to Steamboat this morning troops, AND we rented a little house with spare bedroom so prepare yourselves for champagne powder in the not-too-distant future. Speaking of which I know Brad at least will be tempted by a spot to toss his sleeping bag when http://www.rallycolorado.org/ comes to the 'Boat over the weekend.

Late Summer - High Lonesome

It was a great day on Sat. for a 16+ mile run on one of the most scenic loops in the Front Range. Unbelievable weather along with spectacular views and the solitude of running along the Continental Divide made up for the pure torture our unconditioned bodies endured.

2.5 miles along the CDT

Top-Shelf with Devil's Thumb Pass in her sights!

Rainy days and Mondays...

The Sasquatch and the rains joined me for what may just be my last West Magnolia ride for the forseeable future...
Apparently the Winter Park ski pass includes 6 days at Steamboat this season? Hmmmm.....
