Happy Thanksgiving from all the Alfords that we could fit on one couch! We crammed people into the Chalet like stuffing into the bird and then got cracking on the case of wine Pop and Mimi dragged up there... Owie! More food than seemed logical at the time, all homemade, Cranium and a rockin' whistled version of AC-DC/Run DMC "Walk this Way"! Bring it on! Big thanks to Allison, Jen, Penny, Mimi, Rosa, Dick and Betty for all the delicious grub and good times. So much to be thankful for!

Something Exciting

It looks like there is a decent amount of terrain already at Loveland. Anyone feel like getting crippled on Sunday?

Saturday morning fun

I sure needed that beer I was dreaming about the whole time I was shoveling shit with this guy. Oh and that is the ram, whose poopie is now in my garden. Posted by Picasa
Sheep and goats! They crack me up. I wish I got a photo of these guys in a full run. Posted by Picasa
Here are the sheep and goats at the ranch! These are the young ones they train the cattle dogs with. Posted by Picasa
Finally got my new computer up and running at work. Long awaited Farva pics are now available. What a beautiful weekend that was, no? Posted by Picasa

The Super Stars of Democratic Politics (from left to right, Jim Starr, Bill Ritter, John Salazar, Gail Schwartz, Barbara OBrien and Mark Udall) gathered at The Bean in Gunnison Saturday for a meet and greet. Brendan, Aime and I knocked on roughly 800 doors this weekend in Gunnison and Salida in support of the Dem's "Get Out to Vote" campaign. Posted by Picasa

Hot on the campaign trail, here is a picture from Saturday the 4th of Brendan and Aime campaigning for Gail Schwartz for Senate at 11,312 feet. Unfortunately, we only ran into two constituents up at Monarch Pass, and Brendan came down with a wicked case of frostbite. Election Day is Tuesday, so we are just reminding you to get out and vote!
