Flint Marko baby, aka the ?

Trout's Halloween costume...

Two sticky fingers up!

Armed with vitamin C and grapefruit seed extract, Kdub and I made a brief stop at the Alford's just to check in and see how all the sickos were doing. Matt has a pretty bad dose of the crud. Trout doesn't seem phased by the 1/2 mile of oxygen hose trailing behind him while he crawls and climbs around the house. Rose got whatever the boys gave her, and everyone would feel a lot better if Trout would just sleep through the night!

Trout wanted to pass along this message to all his favorite aunts and uncles on the Front Range: "everything is two sticky baby fingers up!"

Autumn Splendor II

Bash and I took a hot lap up to the Maroon Bells on Saturday. You didn't miss much. A few yellow leaves and snow capped peaks. Check out the pix for yourself.

Autumn Splendor

What an awesome day to float the Blue below Green Mt. Reservoir! I guess anywhere would've been great in Colorado. More big fish to show. Big smiles all around.

Whacka whacka whacka!

Highroller is off to Sin City for the week to check out all the new bike goodies while Chainsaw and the Big Fish hold down the fort...When oh when will Los Farvas kick the hoe down into throw down? Oct 11-12 mayhaps? Stay tune-ed!

Hot race action!

Ok, not here, this is slow mosey action from an excursion down Service Creek while Trout was napping. Great little canyon area by Stagecoach will need further exploration during leaf season

Chainsaw's new wheels! High performance race-bred Trek ready for all the elbow-banging race action you can handle! Yes, that's an RST fork!

Well, first ever cross race is tomorrow, I guess we should practice first. Trout gives some tips as Chainsaw hot laps the local park. No wrecks on the dismounts so that's a great start

Brecktobercross! Thumper rips it up in the 4s while Highroller beats one guy, one guy!

Chainsaw climbing up out of the tunnel, fun course, great weather, beers and good friends...this is what cross racing is about, but rarely does it all come together.

J. "P" Morgan in her first cross race as well, top 10, top 10 in Women's Open! Super job Jess!

Cowbell climb, Chainsaw brought it home without crashes in 5th so that's a great start as well! Best of all though everyone had a blast, and Sean puked, just to round things off in true cross style!

Old friends and new, great to see y'all Sean, Allison, Brad, Jess, Kristin, Cat, Matt, Cat, Scott F, Liz. Next time we need a hibachi for the brats!

Jen & Joseph get wed!

The happy couple all freshly hitched on a beautiful day on Flagstaff. Congrats!!

An even happier couple devouring cupcakes

Matty A fails to solve the paddle-ball and we didn't fair much better with the rubber band propeller planes. Great to hang with good friends Uno, Brendan, Dash, the Crossbowmaker, Dub, et al in the old Boulder environs. When next we meet (Breck?) the beers are on you!

Montana - 100 degrees to 30 degrees

Made my first and not last trip to Montana with a friend from Boulder and met my dad in Fort Smith, MT, a little town on the Crow Indian Reservation. Fished the Bighorn River, and later ventured on to the Yellowstone in Livingston. Then the Stillwater near Columbus, MT and then wrapped it up on the North Fork of the Tongue high up in the Bighorn mountains in northern WY. 7 days of fishing and quaint little towns.

Uh oh!

This can't be good for somebody...probably me but definitely any women planning on racing 35+ cross! Hope you pantywaists out there are ready for some serious triple-Alford heckling and beer/warm milk showers as you come thru the feed zone at select cross races. Trout learned to wave bye bye today in preparation for watching your dreams of cyclocross glory evaporate like vapors in the noonday sun. Buh bye! Ring the cowbell son! I need more cowbell!
