More wet slippery things - Volume 2

There was a pretty sweet road ride I scoped out on the way out to a fishing trip in Cedaredge, CO going over Grand Mesa Pass. Just take the Debeque exit off of 70 and head south. The fish out there were pretty big too.

Good morning winter!

I swear we had grass, lots of grass, showing yesterday... Over a foot of wet stuff at the Chalet had us breaking the shovels out yet again to dig the car out. I think we have shovelled more snow this year (so far) than the previous two winters combined. Loveland should be nice for a wee tele on Sunday though...any takers?

Earth Day

Trails around Ned are going to need a couple more weeks...

Rose and bulge on an Earth Day hike around West Magnolia

Moose! 1 of 3 at the top of Bear Creek (which runs in front of Das Chalet)

The Horror!

Squirrels of Mirkwood sighted in downtown Minneapolis! Luckily I already smelled like a zombie after a long day at the tradeshow and they let me pass without savagely mauling me about the head and neck and/or eating my eyeballs.

...and angel wings and waterfalls.

Dash, wearing his finest knit angel wings taking a photo of the sunset (photo below) as well as his daring moves getting ready for the 8 mile hike up the Na Pali Coast to a waterfall. We depart on Tuesday night and arrive in the mainland on Wed afternoon. Shocking to think we might have to wear pants again...

Turtles, tiny flower and sunsets

Rain or shine, this is the best tEAM to ride with!

Betty says bark you very much

18Rd breakfast of champions! 10 hrs in the saddle for this Cyclonaut and I didn't even venture out into the rain on Sunday. Nice work everyone! Great to ride with Double D again, send Jen out to the Western Rim to get her groove on, try to keep Jess's butt within view on the climbs (what?), share Zion with Gurst and others, ride some hot laps with the Velvet Hammer and Sue, watch Dub blow holes in shit from 30 paces, steal beers from Sean, infect Allison with the charcoalburger addiction, and discover echo point with my own lovely Chainsaw...sweet! Thanks all for making the journey, taking the trip and throwing down when the time seemed right. Could we have used some roman candles and bottle rockets for inner-camp warfare? Sure and we'll work on that for next time, no point letting a couple yahoos with a potato cannon have all the fun! Not when we could have twenty yahoos running around with explosives...

Zion...let's get it on!

Worker bees throw down in Zion!
