Hey, how YOU doin'?

So much to be thankful for this year, not the least of which is the relative dearth of Jello shots 'round the Love Shack over Thanksgiving. Did get down with some vicious card games though...rockin'! Thanks to the multitudes that pitched in big time over the last 11 months to help Chainsaw and Highroller thru all the myriad hurdles, challenges, and unexpected twists and turns involved in bringing the Big Fish into the world...what a long strange trip its been! Expect the Alfords back in the hizzouse in 08!

It all started innocently enough...

"Damn, these pigs in a blanket are awesome, got any tequila?" I think Dash took the close up on the pig...

Can I get you a drink or a jello shot?

Upon arrival everyone was offered a Jello shot, Loni was walking through the crowd with a tray of shot color choices. A few newbies to the Wachtensmachter Haus took the wrong left and arrived at a rather ritzy party. No, this isn't Kristin's house... Sorry, better directions next time.

Everyone is a winner!

What happened after this is not documented in photos. Everyone sane left knowing hangovers were eminent, or those too drunk to get themselves home, had to stay and sober up or do more shots. The mixing of all the liquor into one shot and the gentle leading of the Velvet Hammer, proved to be the end for some's ability to walk upright or without assistance upon leaving. All said and done, my feet stuck to the kitchen floor in the morning, the vodka, the whiskey, the tequila were gone. The gin half gone, and two tall garbage can's full of beer bottles were cast into the recycling. No chips, dip, or weiners were left either. Ah, to do it again next year sounds grand!

Bye bye FKN...

Our trusty long serving steed, the Toyota Tacoma we lovingly refered to as "FKN", has ridden off into the sunset under the dubious ass of one Sean Milhouse Steeves. We have a sneaking suspicion parts will soon start to fall off but I tried my best to introduce (gently) Sean to the concept of "maintenance" and "tuneups" and "regular service intervals"...we'll see how that goes. If you see the grey terror around town make sure to give a honk to Sean and shout "oil change!" Only seen two perfectly respectable Farva pix so far (though in the second one everyone is throwing gang signs?) but I've heard whispered rumours of debauchery so do spill...

Well hi there little children! To some I'm just an odd clown made out of old rims and cogs but to Highroller I'm the font of all wisdom and his bestest bestest friend forever. See he just spent a good 30 hours in a van, solo, driving to Tucson and back and now he'll do whatever I say, hee hee

Tech Wave(s)

Well hello tEaM. It's been a busy couple of weeks since Fruita. Well, it was busy before then now wasn't it? I don't know if any of you have seen what I've been up to. Immersing myself into a world of blogging, Facebook updates and news feeds and (trying) to keep up with the tidal wave of widgets, social networking, social funding, and new tech meetups. I'm learning terms like 'content rich' and 'ping me', and yes, I am now a Blackberry owner. Suffice to say, on some days, I feel really, really old. Oh. Wait. I am.
So. Here is the company I'm part owner of. I'm curious about what you all think. Surf around. Give me feedback. Specifically on Schoolfunder. MattyA, as a teacher (and forward this to any teachers you may know), will this idea work?
Sorry for the long post, but I wanted to share with you what I've been up to.

Who's this?

Chainsaw on a bike again! Too perfect of a day to pass up the local singletrack

Yeah but how do you like MY new look?

From the quarry midway up Emerald Mtn after a painful 32 x 16 hump. Still better than a sharp stick in the eye though!
