Steamboat Pentathalon in the books

Go! bIKE cLUB's very own Chainsaw grits it out to the finish line in alternating frosty sleet and snow conditions on the River Road course. She did great for her 1st race back, in training she pulled 47min test runs on the course on dry and warm days. In the wind and rain/sleet/snow she dug deep and maintained that time for her leg of the race...nice work! Only took like 4 hours afterwards for her to get fully warmed back up too!
Also last night Das Alfords got out to see "Watchmen" with the traditional burrito smuggled in down the pants for tasty vittles. Movie was awesome, especially if you dig radioactive blue swinging dicks, and who doesn't? Over.

  1. I just did the bike leg of the race. 12 miles on a road - no biggie - but there was a cold, wet snow the whole time. Yuck! Our team didn't do so great, could've been the spiked hot chocolate beforehand....
