Lots of changes over the last 10 years since we partied like it was 1999 and (some of us) prepared for the Y2K bug to destroy the world as we knew it. I believe only Highroller and the Crossbowmaker knew each other back in 1999 amongst our little bIKE cLUB crew (Thumper Valentine and the Velvet Hammer too I reckon). Schwinn to Win, porn, bank jobs, moving away from Boulder, moving back, break ups and makeups, too many bIKE cLUB Night Rides, Farvas, Partyapaloozas, 12/20s and other events to remember, weddings, births, deaths and even some taxes. I met Chainsaw, wooed her, adopted her dog Betty, bought Das Chalet with her, took her to Mexico and all over the West, married her, knocked her up and then she bore our little Trout and we moved to Steamboat. Whew! What will 2010 bring? Don't know but more adventures surely await us there, right around the corner, in the future. See you guys there!

Merry Xmas Eve from Steamboat!
Ah, all the fine traditions of Christmas! Time to introduce Trout to some of the classics, like making gingerbread men for Santa Claus (oh yeah he grasped what Santa was all about immediately!). And of course the Story of the Christmas Lobster followed by a rousing round of "lobsta" chase and "Look for the Lobsta" (hide and seek). We'll wrap it all up with Chinese takeout for Xmas Eve dinner in remembrance of the Orange Crab we ate in Santa Fe one Xmas Eve en route to Tucson. You know, standard stuff, like Twelve Twenty, of which by the way we've heard nada. Hook us up with some gossip man! Happy Xmas Eve to all and best wishes for a sweet haul tomorrow from Trout, Chainsaw and Highroller!

Happy Winter Solstice Day!
In honor of winter solstice (today at 10:47 AM MST), two videos of people who are tougher than me, riding their bikes in slightly colder conditions than I would prefer, and one picture of summer riding.

Good times ahead!
Look what we have here. No, not the new boots. Old news. The bigger picture is that I have now figured out how to post my own pictures to the blog. After 5 years of not being able to due to the lack of a digital camera, I finally A. Bought a cell phone with a decent one and 2. figured out how to get it off my cell phone and on to a computer.
This blog is about to go R rated. Praise be the Albino Sasquatch.
Probably ought to have your friends and family delete the bookmark.

Coming down from the mountains!
Well we're gonna try to get down to the FR again, swooping in on turkey feast at Penny's farmhouse like Mothra on Nagasaki. If'n you're in town and wanna maybe grab a quick drinky-poo over the weekend, send up a flare. If we don't see you have a very very happy Thanksgiving and try not to snort marshmellow sweet potatoes out of your nose like last year.
You should watch this. Christmas is right around the corner!

FARVA pop quiz!
Ah, we've been through so much Footsoldiers! Why leave something as important as a FARVA award up to something as frivolent as democracy
and voting and whatnot. The Uber Ancestors have instead decried that the 2009 FARVA awards will be decided by meritocracy, that would be to say on merit. SO simply name the WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHYs of the following images as completely as possible to claim the first Farva up for grabs, the uncoveted, unloved and yet magnetic Trainwreck Award.
