Laramie Enduro sign up open!

Greetings,

Registration for the 2008 Laramie Enduro is now open.

We are only accepting on-line (Active.com http://www.active.com/event_detail.cfm?event_id=1541580) registration this year. Total on-line registration is limited to the first 350 riders/racers. Registration will be shut-off after that point, although we may have the link to a waiting list available soon. We currently are almost 10% filled, so don't delay registering if you really want to race this year.

Check the Laramie Enduro website for more information, links, and race updates. If you wish to be removed from further notifications, please send an e-mail to enduro.rv@gmail.com with a message of "Remove from E-mail List" in the body of the e-mail. Thanks for your past support and good luck with all your training, riding and racing goals this year - Rich

Ti, Ti, Ti...and "The Bus" GT cross bike

Just cuz you make ridiculously sweet ti frames doesn't nescessarily mean you can afford them...at least not with two mortgages. And yet the training has begun nonetheless, only 8 months until cross season! Highroller has gotten in at least 28 miles of training so far in 08 so prepare to get your ass handed to you on a platter when next we meet! Casual lunch ride today from the Moots factory and I only bonked twice!

Winter Carnival

Steamboat plowed all the snow back onto Lincoln for Winter Carnival, broke out the horses and started drag races down the main road...pretty funny! Kids had sprints, a ring toss behind a galloping horse, and a pretty good sized kicker to go off of...longest jump I heard (and these are all under 12 year olds) was 42'. Glen Plake was in the house and the weather was nice and warm so we busted out the Chariot for the first time and strolled around the festivities. Missed the snowmobile jumping at the rodeo grounds and the Lighted Man (burning guy skiing down Howelson at night) and the marching band on skis. Next year I'm entering the dual slalom on snow bikes and the tele races!

Rescue dog
Missed out on visiting and skiing with Bacon and Topshelf as they were involved in a t-bone on the way thru the Granby area early Sat morning, rolled their car and got to visit the ER instead. They are both ok (though I'm sure super sore now that the adrenaline has worn off) but scary nonetheless to say nothing of the pain in the ass factor of getting back home, car totalled, etc. Sounds like a truck ran a stop sign and hit them broadside. Send out all the good juju you can muster for a speedy recovery!

A much better picture of Dash!

Sure we accept credit cards. Just swipe it here.

What happens when combine liquor, snow shovels & base layers?

This.

We'd actually have to blame this one on Matty for starting it. But Dash just had to take it a step further. Well at least the overhanging snow drifts on the roof were cleared.

Even the dog objected.
