The summit comes into view. We hiked up and around to the back side and descended the left skyline into the shaded gully. Old windblown for the most part but pockets of fluff lower down in the trees. Snowboards of course rocked it all while the kneedroppers dealt with the crustiness. Uno seemed to do fine on the fresh AT gear with his patented Mid-West style!
