I hacked into Cheese-O's Flickr account and dug up these oldies but goodies. Memories... Tickler #1 - June 2005

Are we AmeriCANs or American'ts?
'Cause this is what the Chinese are doing this weekend, training tandem death-snipers! If we don't HTFU we'll just be FU'd.
HTFU Ride
This Sunday 8am, Spruce Confections, MTB, heading West and UP! Get your grip on and come on down for Tickler 5, The Redemption. We will ride slow, we will probably encounter snow, we will break into Gold Hill Mercantile if needed for food, we will eat the weak! Be there!

Oh boy!
!st ride done and dusted on my new Moots CX...about 2.7 times as sweet riding as I expected! Blew me away and I cannot wait to put thousands of tasty dirt road miles on this over the spring and summer. Just super-cool and I cannot get over how light and lively it rides, and that's with the motor at a decidedly un-light and lively shape right now... What a blast!

Dream build, day 2
Mounted up the TRPs and the shifters and cassette today, still haven't completely dialed in the headset compression (I think I have the expansion plug too high in the steerer tube) but I'll hit that next as well as string up the derailleur cables and pop on the chain. Fit is spot on (it's custom so it better be) and so far it feels amazingly light, even with brick of a saddle and a couple of other non weight saving component choices...

Highroller's new ride
All the bits are here and I got it halfway built up today while Trout was at a playdate (with two chicks, hmmm). SRAM Force moving bits, Enve fork, FSA HS with integrated hanger and noodle, Salsa Bell Lap 46cm (natch'), TRP Mags in white/gold and Brooks tasty leather saddle and handlebar wrap to complement the satin Moots finish on frame and components. Built to be the ultimate explore-o ride for the next 6 months (with every eyelet, fender mt and pump peg option) then strip off the Brooks and tires (maybe swap wheels) for race season. Lord willin' I'll take 'er out for the maiden voyage this week!
Chainsaw heads to Honey Stinger training camp
Rose and her new rig will be battling it out with the (mostly) pro roster of the Honey Stinger Team in Fruita this weekend, getting to know her new teammates and getting many, many miles in under the desert sun. Ride Friday, 2 rides Sat, 2 rides Sunday...THAT should kick off the bike season with some gusto, and good thing too as she has some ambitious races on the calendar in 2011. Go Chainsaw!
