Lone Star
Excellent hump up to the Lone Star mine site on Tues night with coworker Nick. A little overgeared with the 32x16 but nothing a little pleasant hiking in the relatively cool high country didn't cure. Ripping singletrack descent was the prescription to chase the blues away...washed down with steak and beans at the Chalet = cured!

Colorado Trail w/ Tinker
Sunset Finale
The Tickler Four is complete, though with very sparse attendance. With better positioning, you would be able to see the Sunset railroad car sign behind me...

Milwaukee Day One and Two
We had a blast our 2 days in Milwaukee. Anna and Will were our tour guides, aren't they cute? Saw Marquette campus, went to the new art museum, had a bbq with my college pals, walked my grandparents old property and much more. Here are a few photos. The art museum flaps its wings, can you see it? I ran a 5k at the Bastille Days block party. It was 9pm and I had eaten a gyro, fries, sugar almonds and had a gin and tonic. Most fun 5K ever! After Milwaukee, it was off to Madison and then Two Rivers.

TdF Stage 8
So...
How'd that Tickler 4 go? Highroller wisely opted for building new trail in some mosquito-riddled swampy hellhole instead but it sounds like Dash at least made a run at the Questing Beast that is the Tickler. Did he survive? Is he prepared mentally, physically and most importantly spiritually to join me for Tickler 5, the last leg of this epic journey? Only time, and perhaps dental records, will tell...

Radio Beacon
Well the threatened Tickler 4 didn't materialize but Dave "Bacon" Ryan and Highroller did hump the skis up Rollins Pass Rd for a sweet, steep ski down the flanks of Radio Beacon. Here the descent route drops in directly above Dave (at Forest Lakes).
